A BAD TIME
Xavier looked at Rabastan for an explanation.
Rabastan shook his head. He had a vague idea what was going through Regulus’ head with regards to what was happening today.
But he couldn’t hope to explain... didn’t want to explain... over the breakfast table... with Regulus there.
“Did I come at a bad time?” Xavier asked.
“No.” Rabastan assured him quickly, sure that Regulus was probably thinking anytime Xavier visited was a bad time.
Time to change the subject. “You still seeing the Ravenclaw?”
Xavier shrugged. “It’s open. Holidays are difficult. We don’t all have access to suites at the Ritz...”
