It's ok, no one reads this anymore

Besides, I've been keeping up (sorta) in my real journal. I can't believe it's December... Tomorrow is my very own "Affirmation Night." I get to sit a a table with a bunch of other people while they tell me how wonderful I am or what I've done to influence their life... I don't wanna be a pessimist, and this is probably a self-defense mechanism, but what are they gonna say? I'm perky, maybe I always smile, perhaps they like my singing voice? But really, I haven't touched anyone. I'm a pansey, I can barely deal with God's direct callings to me.
Okay, I'm gonna stop because I was in a bad/sad mood last night and I don't wanna that to spill over into today. It's December! Ohmigosh, ya! I'm just over 10 days to my birthday! And just AT 10 days from finishing my semester at Yosemite. Man... I am totally gonna miss it. Would I stay up here another semester? Wow... two weeks ago I woulda have said 'no way' but now that I think about it... it's probably just cause my new friends are the maintanence guys are my new friends. And I really get a kick outta one in particular. I mean, come on, the guy's like, 24 and he's working at a summer camp. And that's he defined his career thus far. I totally thought he was like a college drop out who got a job up here because his buddy was working here over the summer and yadda yadda yadda. I mean, you can imagine right? Well, it turns out he's actually a college graduate, right? A Poli Sci major, from CAL POLY, no less. And he got in, AS A FROSH, under COMPUTER SCIENCE. Now if you know anything about the UC system and their impacted majors or what not, that's freakin rediculous. The guy musta been valedictorian with a 1600 SAT or something. Ok, it doesn't even stop there. He's also studied at Biola's theology program and gotten a MASTER'S in Christian Apologetics. I mean, I'm super impressed by now and wondering what in the heck he's doing working at a camp. It doesn't even stop THERE though. He was also accepted into a prestigious program in OXFORD to begin his DOCTORATE in Muslim Ministries. Crazy, eh?! He got to England and in two days decided that it wasn't where God wanted him. "Sometimes it's knowing that you COULD have done it, instead of actually doing it..." that's what his Dad said while he was dealing with this, but before he informed him of the struggle. Well anyway, he came back and now he's working here. Moral of the story: You never know who God is gonna put in your path.

I'm bored, and kinda weirded out I talked about Wolf so much. plus I'm hungry and I wanna walk to Micah who's sitting next to me. Plus I need to do ART JOURNAL!!! So I'll write more later. Ciao!
