I couldn't leave this page without telling you that I simply adored this piece. It was beautiful, mesmerising and you created an atmosphere that I can't quite describe except that it was exquisite. What I really loved is somehow you created such a sense of space in this story...I wish I knew how to put it...give me a little space let me see if I can work it out >////< By space I mean the rhythm. Nothing felt rushed. Everything felt right. Like it was how it went. There was nothing unnecessary, not extra words, no extra moments just the ones that counted for us to know about, the rest is between them.
That moment when Jae was hit by the car it was like watching the scene in suspended animation and you wrote it in such a way that I could see it, could feel the cold, the horror, the pain and it was all so slow and each breath felt painful. Fantastic.
The meeting that they didn't remember even years later but happened nonetheless...something about it struck me. Not in a 'they're meant to be' kind of way but just that a simple meeting like that might not turn into something huge but something else can. The difference between settings of familiarity and strangers. I loved it. (though I share my umbrellas with strangers if I can lol!)
I know it's been years since you posted this but thank you for sharing it and for still sharing it. Your writing was so beautiful that all I am left with is just love and gratitude for this and for you. Thank you ♥
