Sure, why not?

I figure I'll update for a bit. Not that I have anything pressing to say...in fact, I have very little to say. My life is going along, pretty similar to how it has been. No real changes to discuss, no life-altering events. Well, maybe there were...but I don't necessarily want to discuss them here, which is a relatively public forum. There are way too many people who can read this if they so choose, and I'm really too lazy to make this a 'secure' update. So I'll just be inane and vague--it all works. It's still an update, right?

I just finished up my summer classes, which takes a bit of a weight off of my mind. While I still have to go to work and all, at least I don't have to worry about doing classwork when I get home. I'm working 40+ hours a week, when you combine both jobs...it's a lot, but for the majority of the time, I enjoy it.

The house is the house. It's a kind of odd situation sometimes...I don't always feel like I belong, but that's all right. I guess I always kind of exist on the periphery, but I feel it more now than I have before. Oh, well. So it goes.

I'm meeting new people this summer, which is a good thing. I mean, I'm staying close with all the old people, too, but I needed to 'expand my horizons'. Bentley's has given me the chance to meet a lot of people, which makes me happy. A lot of cool girls work there, so we chill a lot. I met a guy...and then he got weird (or maybe I did?), so that didn't go anywhere. It was fun for the short time it lasted, though (aka, like..2 weeks? Whatever). He's from far away, anyhow.

My room is yellow and green and white. That makes me happy. I walk in, and it's like an oasis. It looks kind of like a room you'd see in a beach cottage--peaceful and such. The color choices, I think, were a good choice.

I'm going to a Dave Matthews concert on Wednesday, maybe. That should be exciting. And I'm working (a lot), and then going to a CMST reunion type deal on Saturday (the 17th). I'm going to a party tomorrow night, which will be fun, I think. It's funny, though...I haven't been much into drinking for a while. Maybe I've gotten it out of my system, a bit? Who knows.

Okay...time for me to go--I'm going to watch some soccer :)
