An English major with a really bad headache

So I'm officially an English major now (Linguistics, specifically).  Oddly enough, my parents were completely on board with this decision.  Why?  I'm guessing my dad still wants me to be a lawyer and is rejoicing in the dropped Journalism major (no money in Journalism, he always said).  I'm excited for a lot of reasons; I'm going to enjoy my classes more and also, I finally get to take the class on phonetics and morphology.  Kickass!

Ok, I just scared myself a little.  I'm actually thrilled about a phonetics class.

Just watched the highly enjoyable SGA episode where David Hewlett is trapped in a flooding puddle jumper.  An hour during which he talks almost incessantly, kisses an imaginary Amanda Tapping, and is wet... heehee.   Did you get to watch, Liz?

My head has not stopped hurting for twelve hours.  Ugh.

School ends in... hmmm.... two weeks?  *counts on fingers*  Yup.  Two weeks.  Weird.  And I have just one week to fix my final project for screenwriting (I got a comment on my outline that said "Why?  And is this even possible?!"  I laughed at the time and I still think it's kind of funny, but I suspect that's a defense mechanism).
