Progress list, on Secret Identities
While trying to remember Guy's second Mystic Arte today ("Lord... Overlord! Overlord something...? BRILLIANT Overlord!!") I thought, I want to do some kind of a Tales quiz. "Hi-Ougi X belongs to which character?" "Which characters can use arte Y?" and so on...
I love the part in the Iron Man movie where Stark smashes to the wall when trying his flying equipment for the first time. So sudden and random~ (also he survives so I'm allowed to find it funny)

Tales of Symphonia - through 4 times, collectors' book/monster book full, all titles but Mid-Life Crisis
Tales of Rebirth - a few hours in
Tales of Legendia - pending
Tales of the Abyss - through
Tales of Innocence - pending
Tales of Vesperia - twice through, extra playthrus for achievements pending
Tales of Hearts - through
Tales of Graces - some 15-20?? hours in, chance to continue unknown xD
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 1 - pending
Knight of Ratatosk - played a little here and there, owned by sister
Humhumm.
I really REALLY like stories with secret identities. Like phantom thieves or superheroes. For some reason I find it super exciting when they're almost found out, almost caught. Ahahaha. >w<;;;
Or when their identity gets exposed...!
I love watching the scene in that summer holiday Danny Phantom episode where he lands on that stage, which all of his schoolmates are watching, and transforms back. His face when he realizes what he just did...!!
And in the Spectacular Spider-Man series when Peter's stuck to that car and Venom's got his mask and then he's upside down. His face just reads "aww SHIT" all over~ <3 also, his legs in that scene. Ahahaha. Perv Minna.
Also had several own ideas concerning secret identities. Some that were just AU with the usual suspects... But I have some that don't concern them. One was this sudden idea that I want to do a phantom thief story with a lesbian main couple. There aren't enough of ANY kind of stories with the main couple being gay. |:
The other was about this some kid who transformed into a phantom thief, I forgot what I had him steal, probably had some backstory to that, but the thing was that for every X amount of time he spent transformed, after he undid the transformation, he'd be unconscious for Y amount of time. With Y being troublesomely long. XD
And at some point he'd get captured and try to protect his indentity by staying transformed (he'd look different from his usual self, unlike with many mahou shoujo girls XD). And all the while he's transformed, the time he'll spend knocked out keeps piling up. |,D
I keep imagining the kid, while transformed at least, looking something like Tsukasa from .hack//SIGN, but I don't think I ever did a look for him. A sketch one maybe but I was very unsatisfied with it.
There really wasn't any point to this, if you're wondering. I just somehow brought up secret identities in a instant message convo with my best friend and I wanted to write more about it hah. Anyone got a good phantom thief story or some other with a focus on someone's secret identity, do tell me. Even a relatively read-able is fine.
The first shounen-ai I ever read was a phantom thief story, too. I wonder if I should find that again and re-read it. I was still a little averse to guy/guy back then, but it was a thief story so I read it anyway, heh.
Maybe I'll start writing here more often instead of dA. Less people to annoy and these don't bother people's inboxes or stuff.
