So I'd just like to share my random day on Thursday. I got into the office around 8:15, which is fairly normal. I then did my usual stuff and I was all ready to sit down at the computer and figured out how I was going to occupy my time today (I had like 3 options, it was just a matter of which I would work on first). Then a partner walks around the corner and was like, "Hi Tracy." She usually does this, so I just said "Hi" as usual. Well then she proceeds to tell me that I'm going to a seminar in her place because something came up in the office that she really needs to take care of. This seemed a bit strange, but I was like "ok." (I mean what else am I going to do, tell a partner "no?"). LOL. So she said it was at 8:30 so I was going to be late and they were getting me directions. Well they were about to leave my office and I was like, "What the topic of the seminar?" Apparently it was on Health Savings Accounts. I knew nothing about this topic, but hey, I'm always up for learning something new. I came in about a half hour late and was clueless, apparently he was going thru statistics, so I guess my non-comprehension at that point was ok. I finally did understand and I understood enough to think that I really don't like these things. I won't bore you and give you reasons, but it just doesn't seem like a good idea. Maybe that is just me. So then after the seminar I raced over a restaurant where we were having a goodbye party for one of the managers who is leaving us shortly. The get together was fun. I actually enjoy hanging out with the people from work, just not sure that goes the other way. After most of the people left, we went a few doors down to bar and they drank some more. A little later we left and I drove my manager home, saw her house and headed home around 9.
