Summary: The boys live their whole life not knowing each other because their mothers made a mistake. A mistake that could never be fixed. Now that they met each other, what will happen? Will their mothers come out with the truth, or keep it bottled up until it's, too late?
+ Eunhyuk’s pov. +
I was walking in the halls after I asked for permission from my teacher. Gosh I hated math so freaking much!! I can’t even understand a word the stupid teacher was saying! I sighed, my Hae isn’t here today! That makes it even worse! I miss him so damn much…eh? Someone is down the hall.
Who is that? I think I know the guy! I think it’s uhm…I can’t see his face. Oh wait, he’s stopping! Is he sick?? I walked a little closer and he was wobbling, he looks like he’s about to fall. I leaned in to take a closer look. I saw his side profile. I recognize those lips anywhere! It’s Sungmin~
Oh no! He’s looks sick….and he’s falling!
“Sungmin!!” I rushed over to him and put his head on my lap. I’m panicking! Someone help! I don’t know what to do!
“Sungmin, Sungmin! Wake up! What’s wrong huh?” I kept shaking his body but there was no response…wait I could take him to the nurse!
I struggled with his body because I’m not all that strong. I need a second person. I wish Hae was here!! I started to tear up…no not my best friend! What if he is seriously injured?! I carried him on my back and made my way to the school nurse. I hope she’s still there.
I grunted as we passed the classrooms. His weight started to get heavier or was I just getting tired. I couldn’t choose.
Oh wait, someone came out of that classroom!
“Hey!” I called out to the guy….
+ End of pov. +
+ Inside the Geometry class +
Kyuhyun was fidgeting in his seat. He was trying to pay attention in class but something was bothering him. Of course he was ahead of the class because he already read and studied this chapter. But somehow, he felt that something bad had just happened.
He raised his hand to excuse himself to go to the restroom.
He barely came out of the class and someone called out to him.
“Hey!” The guy was sweating and panting. He was also carrying someone on his back.
“What the…” Kyuhyun ran up to the small guy and helped him with the person on his back.
“Sungmin?! What happened to him?” Kyuhyun was shocked seeing Sungmin unconscious and in some guy’s arms.
“Who are you and what are you doing with Sungmin?”
“I’m Eunhyuk, Sungmin’s friend. I found him in the hallway. Thank you for helping me…” Eunhyuk said.
“Uhuh…look I’ll take him you can just go.” Kyuhyun said without saying you welcome.
“But…”
“I know him, I’m tutoring him. He’ll be fine.” Kyuhyun grabbed Sungmin and put him on his back.
‘Hmm, he’s lighter than I thought…’ Kyuhyun thought.
They reached the Nurse’s office and Kyuhyun put Sungmin on the bed.
“Oh what happened?!” the nurse helped Kyuhyun and quickly grabbed her medicine bag.
“I don’t know, someone found him unconscious in the hallway.” Kyuhyun wasn’t sure of it but he’ll assume.
“Poor boy…looks like he’ll have to stay here for a while. I’ll call his parents.”
The nurse went through some files and pulled out some fill-in sheets.
“Name please?” the nurse asked as she looked at Kyuhyun.
He said nothing and just starred at Sungmin.
“Excuse me, what is his name?” The nurse said louder and Kyuhyun snapped out of his inner thoughts.
“Oh uhm…Lee Sungmin…”
“Okay and are you his brother?” Kyuhyun scrunched up his face.
“No.”
“Cousin?”
“No.”
“Boyfriend?”
Kyuhyun widened his eyes. “No! Heck no! I’m just a student who brought him here…that’s it!” Little did he know they were going to be more than just that.
“Mhm…sure. I’lll check up on him and I’ll let you know.” the nurse winked at him and then Kyuhyun walked back to his classroom like nothing happened.
+ Sungmin’s house +
“Aigoo…you must be careful next time okay?” his mother was babying him again.
“But umma I’m fine now.” Sungmin smiled and got up from his bed.
“Well, alright. But today we are having guests! They are coming over for dinner, isn’t that great! My best friend, her husband, and her son are going to be here.” his mom looked so excited and he wanted his mom to be happy like this always. But suddenly his mom stopped smiling.
“What’s wrong umma? Something wrong?”
“Uhm honey, you have to promise me something. Promise me that you will not be angry with me or my friend after tonight okay?” His mom looked at him hopefully.
“What? Why?” He could not understand at all of what’s going to happen that’s going change his life forever.
“Well, we have some news for you and her son and it’s our promise since before you two were born. We would really like to keep it because it is really important to us. We wouldn’t want anything else.” his mom looked like she was about to cry.
“Okay! I’ll promise you umma! Don’t cry…I’ll do anything just don’t cry!” Sungmin hated seeing his mom cry. He’ll do anything to make his mom happy.
Ever since he was 5, he always heard how much she misses her best friend. Now that his mom get’s to see her again, he’ll do anything for her to stay happy.
“Alright, alright. I won’t cry. Even thought you don’t know what’s happening just go with it okay?”
“Okay umma, I will.” Sungmin smiled and hugged her.

+ 5:30 p.m. +
Ding Dong! The doorbell rang and Sungmin’s appa went to go answer the door.
Sungmin watched as he saw a family of three entered the door. A lady, a man, and Kyuhyun?! He nearly choked on air as he saw them greet his parents.
‘They are the guests?!’ Sungmin panicked on the inside as he bowed to Kyuhyun’s parents. It was awkward when they bowed to each other.
Kyuhyun seemed to be the opposite of Sungmin. He was calm, comfortable, and smirking!
“Okay lets sit down and enjoy the dinner everyone!” Sungmin’s umma cheerfully announced.
Their parents cleared their throats.
“First, I would like to say thank you for coming here for dinner. Well, Minhyun would you like to start?” Sungyeon said.
“Yes. Uhm…Sungmin, Kyuhyun we have something important to tell you. As you guys both know we made a promise long before you were both were born and we planned on keeping this promise so we signed papers. But when you guys were born, you were both boys…”
Kyuhyun and Sungmin were both confused, they didn’t know where this was going.
Minhyun continued, “The reason why we did it was because we didn’t want our children to be married to any other but ours…I know it’s selfish but we can’t break our promise. And Sungmin, when you were still in my stomach we thought you were a girl. Then the doctors were wrong, when you came out you were a boy. We both hoped that one of you was a girl but that didn’t happen. The paper we already signed were papers to get our first born child arranged in marriage…”
The mothers hoped that they would get the message and they did.
“WHAT?! UMMA!” Both Sungmin and Kyuhyun shouted.
Sungmin started tearing and Kyuhyun couldn’t look up from his plate.
Then Kyuhyun whispered something but the mothers couldn’t hear.
“What? I can’t hear you hon. Speak louder.” Kyuhyun’s umma said.
“I said it’s okay! I’m…gay…” He looked up and saw the shocked faces of there parents.
Then Sungmin abruptly stood up.
“But I’m not! You see it’s not meant to be! He’s gay and I’m not!” he shouted and ran to the bathroom.
“Sungmin-ah!” His father called out.
“I’ll go talk to him…” Sungmin’s mom went to the bathroom and talked to him about it.
Minutes later Sungmin came out with puffy, red eyes and sat down.
“I’ll do it.” he looked at his mom and she just smiled.
“Alright, it’s settled then. Kyuhyun and Sungmin will be married in one week!!” Both of their parents smiled and continued to eat happily.
Kyuhyun and Sungmin met eyes and Sungmin just shyly looked away. This made Kyuhyun smirk, his eyes scanned over the other boy.
‘This ought to be fun.’ he thought.
