i agree wholeheartedly with azra's lj comments, its truly ridiculous that anyone can delude themselves into thinking 'God wants me to go out and kill innocent people to spread his word'?!?! It's just completely mind boggling and sickening how anyone can bring themselves to even think that, let alone do it.
It surprised me how many people I actually knew that would be around that would be commuting into London yesterday, and really annoyed at myself that it wasn't till later in the afternoon I thought of my cousin who had just been here last weekend and made a joke about commuting in london, which my brother reminded me of. Turned out she got the 8:40 tube before the one that blew up at 8:51, I'm not sure which one it was now, I think Aldgate. She's just so lucky she was running early for a change, its just so scary. Luckily her husband managed to find her and pick her up, before roads started closing off, and trains stopped. She said others in her office would have to sleep there overnight, and I think they were going to open up M n S for people to sleep in.
And the worst thing is there's just nothing we can do, literally nothing short of putting metal detectors everywhere, and thats just stupid and impractical. grrrrrr, its just making my blood boil writing about it, so I shall stop and try and make progress with today.
