Oh I hope I don't start something but...
Do I really need to throw out my bag of pistachios that I bought at the local co-op just 'cause there is a salmonella outbreak at some place?
Maybe I'm being irrational, but I'm kinda sick of food recalls based on one or two people getting sick.
Now the spinach thing awhile ago seemed a bit more legit. But spinach is also a very short shelf-life product. I didn't eat it for a month, whatever.
Am I supposed to freak out just 'cause two people in the entire US got salmonella? I mean, statistically, I have better odds of dying in a plane crash. WITHOUT EVEN BEING ON A PLANE.
