It's too hot out...already

Lena is NOT HAPPY about the sudden and abrupt weather change. In her region, it snows well into april, and things melt off around mid april or even may. Right now, temperatures are in the 50's...T-shirt weather

[ He's standing right outside the door sweating bullets, but it's got nothing to do with the weather.

He's got a bouquet of freshly picked daffodils and tulips clutched in his hands. It's part of the new FTD "Sorry I told you our baby got abducted by aliens" collection. ]

[ She smiles and takes a quick sip of water ]

Th-thanks. [ He steps inside the room, rubbing his head sheepishly. He's doing a rather poor job of hiding those flowers behind his back too. ]

... Wasn't too sure if ya'd be wantin' to see me again. I... I was sorta afraid ya might be mad at me fer fibbin' to ya about the, um... baby.

[ She shakes her head ]

It's ok Lou! it really is... you were confused and didn't know what to do. I forgive ya! I do!

Thank ya, honey. Ya really didn't have to go and forgive me like that. [ He's awfully glad she did though!

Wrapping her up in a quick thank you hug now, along with a soft whisper in the ear. ] ... I brought ya some flowers too, if ya'd like 'em.

[ She peeks around his shoulder and grins, squeezing him a little ]

Figured it was 'bout the least I could give ya as an apology. [ He reluctantly lets her go. That hug was really nice. He hadn't had one for a while. ]

Unless... [ he smiles slyly at her ] ...there's somethin' else ya'd like me to give ya?

[ She flushes and slowly grabs on to his hands ]

A...well, a date w-would be nice. I've...never been on a date before.

[ He smiles warmly. Dropping down on one knee in front of her, he kisses the back of her hand. Since it's her request, he's trying to do this in the most cheesy way possible the old school way. ]

Miss Erickson, would ya do me the honor of please goin' on a date with me then?

[ She kneels down and scoops him into a hug. She's very fond of old school and cheesy... ]

Ummm... have ya got anythin' in mind that ya'd like to do for the... date? Or... maybe I could think of somethin'...?
