Now this will be real post. Probably a long one.
Yeh, it's a Friday night and I am online instead of out. By choice. It's the last Friday night of the summer. I want to spend it being lazy.
Work is going good. I don't mind my job. It's a breeze compared to what I did for five years. Anything would be. Plus I am no longer the new girl. There are five new ones. I am now one of the Tomorrow is my last day for a week. I need adjustment time...not in terms of moving, ect...but in terms of classes. My schedule is still screwed up...not impressed, but I called Susan and let her know I would be coming to see her on Monday.
I'm kinda dreading meeting my new roommate, Renee. She most likely will be different than what I have assumed her to be; yet, until she proves my assumptions wrong, I will be quite reserved. Won't she be in for a shock when I "come to life".
Husson has finally done something worth mentioning..lol. No more getting a yearly parking pass! YAY! One less hassle.
In an effort to make the parking situation more user friendly, please be advised, that effective immediately, Husson College Parking Decals, WILL NO LONGER EXPIRE.
The decal that one receives upon arrival at Husson will be honored as long as the recipient is a Husson College student, staff, or faculty member, or changes vehicles. New decals with no expiration date have been ordered that will be affixed to the inside of the window, but they have not yet arrived. However, we will continue to honor the current 2006-2007 decals. After things have settled down, we will start swapping the old decals for the new. In most cases you will get the same number, so there will be no need to fill out the registration card again. Please advise your staff and students of the new policy.
I reiterate; new students, new staff, and new faculty will be the only ones required to get new decals.
This rocks. =D It's such a pain in the ass to track someone down to get your vehicle registered. Apparently they have noticed it as well.
Eh, I still have to go to Wal-Mart and get ink for my printer, notebooks, Norton Antivirus, and some other stuff that I can’t remember what it is. Lol. I guess it wasn’t that important.
I called my mother today and was like “I am still coming up on Sunday, yet I have so much to get accomplished before I leave so I am not going to join y’all at church.” Not a lie. She didn’t say much, but what could she say? I have laundry…cleaning out my car…my closet…my dresser…gathering the stuff that I want to take back with me-which is basically all ready to go for I never unpacked it…Lmao. It’s more or less deciding which clothes I want to take back with me. I took far too many last year…and left far too many at home. I basically I have sort through it all and play the “will I ever wear this again?” game. My sister will be in heaven when I am done. ‘Course the rat already goes through my clothes and thought I had no idea until I saw some sitting folded amongst the clean laundry-and I hadn’t been home for a month, nor had I wore those clothes for a few months. I wasn’t too impressed. It’s called asking. She has no respect for others or their things. It pisses me off.
I’m excited to move back to Husson. I don’t care for the classes, but I don’t mind campus life. I’m accustomed to chaos. The food’s pretty good. I love my work-study job. For those of you who have no idea what my work-study job is: I work at the dining hall. I don’t wash dishes. Lol. I work in the bakery where we make the desserts. It kicks ass. I love to bake and decorate…and sample-which we are allowed to do…and the people back there are awesome. Plus I choose my own hours. It’s perfect.
I’m also missing decent TV channels. All I have here is CBS, NBC, CW, Lifetime, Fox, and CBC. Plus a ton of those advertising channels. How exciting. Not.
Hmm…not sure how long it will take to get the internet. Took two days as a freshman, but now I have a Husson account so unless there is a paper that I need to sign saying that I will be a good girl online-hahah-I should be all good. Gives me time for roommate bonding…jjjuussttt kidding.
My daddy is bringing all my stuff down on Monday. Mom didn’t want him to-apparently I was supposed to lug my fridge and TV upstairs to the 8th floor myself. Oh, and cram a year’s worth of stuff into my small car…haha…right. However, I was smart and called and asked him myself….before Mom could put in her thoughts. Lol. Go me. Worked like a charm. Always does. I’m the oldest girl…the little girl that Dad always wanted. I win. =D
I hear that Jarred and Melissa are going to be up North this weekend. Interesting. Well, I’ll get to see them on Sunday. Olivia is growing up big time. It’s so exciting, yet sad at the same time. The older she gets, the older I will be. Seriously….when Liv graduates high school, I will be 36. Thirty-six!
Mmm…Jarred, Melissa, and I get a kick out of how naïve our families are about Ryan and Deidre. We get a bigger kick out of how Rye and Deej think they have the world fooled. Seriously.
Okay, I must explain. Ryan has a two-bedroom apartment. When Deidre is up for the weekend, she will stay there. According to them, she stays in the other room-or-“her room.” Bull shit. They are ssoo saying that to keep their mother’s out of their business. Melissa and Jarred were there a while ago and had some stuff that they brought up. Ryan told them to put it in the other bedroom…so they did…and there was stuff on the bed. A neatly made, never been slept in for a long time bed with stuff piled on it that had been there for a long time. And none of Deej’s things were even in the room. She had been staying there for a few days. I have seen the room myself. Come on people. She has razors, shampoos, ect., in the bathroom, but not one girlish thing in “her bedroom”? Haha…people have no idea…how funny.
I just realized that I have no idea what time I can move into the dorms on Monday. Lol. Imagine that. Gonna go and find out. Hahah..omg..I didn’t find the answer, but I found out the time of the the annual “Outdoor movie” on Monday night. Yep….we go and sit outside for a big screen movie. It’s stupid, but fun…doesn’t mean I will attend though.
Meh, I have more to say, but am too tired to process it into readable English.
