(no subject)
Hmm...been a short day. Slept until about 4pm. :)
Going into work two hours early tomorrow--at 11 instead of one. Not thrilled about it, but the store closes at 7pm, so it isn't all that bad.
Can't believe that Adrienne is getting married. In two weeks. To a 36 year old. With two kids. I never saw that coming. I stand amazed. She's barely 19. Just graduated highschool. Always was boy crazy and has had several boyfriends--nothing consistent. They have only been dating for three months. They've know each other longer, but still. Wow. However, if that is what she wants--which is obviously is, I am happy for her and hope that it works out :) They are "very much so" in love and he treats her perfectly. Yay Adrienne! :)
She loves kids and will no doubt be an excellent mother. 'Course to top it all off, they have one on the way. **Which is not the reason they are getting married. Perhaps it might have rushed things a bit, but I kinda doubt it. Adrienne has always been on the impulsive side to get things done quick, fast, and in a hurry.** (Not to be taken the way I just re-read it...heh.)
Heh, my aunt asked me if I wanted anything at the store and I told her that I didn't. She insisted that she could get me something so I suggested a Powerade. She brought home five of them. As much as I'm rolling my eyes, I'm not complaining. I love the stuff. Any color is good. Makes a great slushie also...lol. It's what you find in my fridge at college. That amongst other things.
She also wanted to borrow a movie to watch. So I brought out the few that I had brought down here...about 15 of 'em...and she was like "wow..you have alot of movies..." To her, that is. She doesn't own hardly any, nor does she really have time to watch them. I was like "haha..this is nothing. I own many more than this. These are just some of my favorites and some of the ones that I have picked up this summer. I also have a few of my boxed seasons down here if you want to watch those." Lol.
Tomorrow after work, I am going to go and see Tina's new dorm room--she is in the brand new building that EMCC is opening up. Also, I need to her help me find the place where my TB thingy will get done on Monday. I'll MapQuest the directions that I was given...and then have her help me find it. She's much better with directions than I. Lol. I think anyone is.
Well, off to bed for me. I'm not tired, but if I don't sleep now, I will be fighting to stay awake at work--not fun. Been there, done that. It's hot in that store so being tired and hot makes me want to pass out. Been there and almost done that also. =P Well...that was part of the problem. Stupid summer class that required frequent all-nighters. Lol.
However, if I have a cold drink there, I never get to that point. Ssoo...me and my powerade will be bonding and perhaps I will walk down to the Starbucks on break and get a cup of caffine. That does wonders as well :)
