Every person in their life needs a friend or family member durring the difficult times, for undestanding, caring and help. In my life, especially when i was small, the people who loved and helped me were my two little sisters.
When i was small i lived with my mom, sisters and stepdad. my stepdad didnt love me because i wasnt his born-daughter, so he was very fierce twords me, and often roughly scolded me, or ordered me to clean this and clean that. and still, often he was mean to me and my mom. I felt my life was very diffiult to lead. Never the less i had my two sisters to make my life seem not so terrible and bitter. We always played together, and often, they would take care of me.
I remember once when i was about 13, my stepdad scolded me, then told me to clean the house. He hollered that if i didnt have it done when he returned home that evening, he would beat my ass. When he was done speaking, he slammed the door, and left. when i thought about all the abuse i was reciving in my life i couldnt help but cry. The more i cride the sadder i was. At this time my older little sister came in and said to me, " dont worry, big sister, theres no problem." She got me to lay down on the couch for a moment and i cried and cried myself to sleep.
When i woke up the day was already dark, my head hurt a little, and for a moment i didnt know where i was. Then i recalled my the threat my stepdad had given when he left. I was suddenly panicked and jumped to my feet. What a disaster! i hadnt cleaned the house yet, and he was about to come home! I thought i must surely endure a beating.
I ran to the living room and saw my two little sisters sitting quietly on the sofa, watching tv. On a second look, the living room was all cleaned and tidy. I ran to the kitchen, and the bed rooms, and every corner of the house was perfectly clean. I asked my sisters, "Did you guys clean this up?" My sister smiled and said, "While you were asleep two angles came and hurriedly cleaned the house to be this clean!" As she spoke, the door opened, and in came my stepdad, with a cloudy countenance. When he saw that the house was all clean he said, "I see you got it done. Ill let you off this time!" My sisters excitedly interjected, " It was big sister who did it!"
When I heard their words I was extremely moved. At that time, my sister was only 8, and already she knew how to take care of me.
My two little sisters are still my best friends, up to today. every time i have a difficult time, or unhappy stuff going on, for instance if my husband and i have any friction, i just give my sisters a call, and from where ever they are i can obtain understanding, concern and love.
Well, there you have it. It sounds really dumb in english, it sounds much more educated and formal in chinese. It also isnt a completely true story, its embelished of course, makes for higher scoring. Yay! go honerable mention! I am so cool!
