Pakkun Tamago! 9/23

Sep 24, 2011 02:03

Before we begin, the OHP has a pic of las week's winner as well as a pic of last week's cake!
Note the tube of condensed milk next to all the strawberries ;3

The WEIRDEST set of voices "pakkun"ify the silence to kick off the show.

Takanori starts doing the intro in a cute/dorky/silly voice, that makes the other hosts laugh so they can't do their parts and he has to redo it in normal XDDD
But as soon as their member intros are done, Turbo goes back to -whatever-that-voice-is- to do the rest of the intro ^^;;;;;

Takanori: Wow, it's the end of Sheptember! (he said kungatsu instead of kugatsu)
Everyone laughs at his mispronunciation 8D;

TETSUYA: Oh hey! That means we get two cakes in a row?
Miyano: What?
TETSUYA: Oh wait, it's the 23...
Takanori: *laughing* TETSUYA-san!
TETSUYA: I thought it was my birthday :/
Miyano and Sando: What
Takanori: Be patient, TETSUYA-san~

They all laugh at how Banana wants a cake so badly, then go to a song.

(Birdnote: apparently it's IKUO's Birthday though, on the 24th! 8o! Fruity times, we has them)

- FLAGS -

Turbo's still doing THAT VOICE when the girls enter. XD;;
He keeps it up whenever he's not laughing too much at the others laughing at him.

Intros nau!

First girl talks about autumn sports - she's been going to a lot of baseball games and soccer games.
TETSUYA: WHY waste your time on baseball?! Stick to soccer!
Takanori: TETSUYA-san, stay calm.

They ask which teams she went to see, but spend more time talking about the soccer league than the baseball one FOR SOME REASON 8D;;

Second girl talks about how she didn't have a very summery summer, so she decided to go to the beach in Kamakura with her friends.
TETSUYA: Wow! You're a group of gossip girls!
Sando: I still don't know what you see in that show.
TETSUYA: But you saw it right?
(Bird: This seems to confirm he's talking about the American show)

Since this was her only non-work-related beach trip, she enjoyed it a lot.

Next girl went to an onsen. By herself!
She got pampered there as it was also a spa.

Girl: I think a lot of women enjoy this sort of thing.
Takanori: You know there are men who really love onsens.
TETSUYA: ....mmmhmm!

Next girl got to try fugu for the first time ever.
The guys don't really react at first...

Takanori: Oh yeah, I guess you guys never get to eat it. It's a lot more common in Kansai.
Sando: Also, you're rich.
Takanori: I just think it's a lot more common in Kansai, but it's so rare in Tokyo.
(Bird: ....actually, even though it is pretty expensive, I think he's right. *lives above a fugu restaurant*)

Next girl talks about a test/audition she wants to take at Fuji TV.
The guys wish her luck.

Next girl I missed completely. (Sorry!)

Next girl is entering a design contest (she's one in design school) and tells them about her project.

Girl: The theme is love.
Takanori: Oh. Love (he said it in English)
TETSUYA: Rabu. (he tried to say it in English)

They wish her good luck with it ^^

Next, Kimura complains that people have been telling her she gained weight while others tell her she got thinner so she doesn't know what the hell
Takanori: Maybe it's your hair? It looks really good lately, so people are noticing it but not realizing it's your hair their noticing.
TETSUYA: Kimura-san, I just noticed you! How long have you been here?
Kimura: I've been on this show since the very first episode!

All laugh xD

Finally, today, our Awesometown girl is phoning in from Sapporo!!
She's taken an internship with a TV station (she wants to be an announcer) there so they've followed her.

They ask her how the city is and how her internship is going, offering encouragement - Turbo in particular seems to know the station.

Takanori: You know, if it goes well and they hire you, you might have to move to Sapporo! How do you feel about that?

She replies that she likes it a lot, and describes her experience eating gengiskhan for the first time ^^
To much approval from the guys 8D; as she said it kinda funnily.

Items nau!

The girl with the first item is giggling.
TETSUYA: Hihihihi. (giggles with her)

So yeah, she brought a clip that goes over carbonated drink bottles and stops the carbonation from leaking out.

Takanori: Actually, I don't really like carbonated drinks, I prefer them flat.
TETSUYA: Then this item is no good!

They talk about drink preferences - Sando likes Mitsuya Cider which comes in small bottles that lose carbonation FAST so he really wants this thing.

Next item is a plate!
The guys are distracted though because the girl showing it (Tommy) is wearing dark contacts.

Tommy: The contacts aren't my item!

She manages to explain what this plate is : it's actually for face massages! A Chinese type of face massage.

TETSUYA: Ehhhhh
Miyano: Hmmmm
Takanori: Oh, you put cream on the plate and then use it on your face, right?
Girl: Right, you can use all kinds of different creams.

The plate itself is made of stone. Takanori reads the label (I must assume) and then Tommy has to thank him for doing the item presentation FOR her ^^

Takanori: Does it work?
Tommy: Well I've been using it in the morning and...
TETSUYA: Wait, let us check your face and see.
She laughs, and Miyano declares that she's looking cute ^^

Takanori: Use it before special occasions, then!

Next, Kimura has something - before she can explain what it is, the guys start laughing that it's a bottle full of gallstones :/
TETSUYA: Why would you give us something like that?!
They laugh and joke about how she extracted them until she finally manages to shout loud enough to actually explain :p

The stone-looking things are actually candies! You put them in a bottle with a little water and shake
(shaking sounds)
and then the bottle is all clean when you take them out!

She actually got it as a way to help disaster-struck areas.

TETSUYA: ....why don't you just buy a bottle of mineral water in the first place?
Kimura: This way, you can reuse the bottle and share it.
TETSUYA: You could just get a new bottle.
Kimura: But when you don't have a new bottle, you can use this to get rid of germs and contaminants.

It takes some discussion, but Banana doesn't seem to really -get- this concept of *not* being able to just get a new one >.>;;;

Takanori has to rexplain it in a way that makes more sense to Bananabrain.
TETSUYA: OH!. She's a bad presenter.

Misunderstandings aside, it sounds like a cool idea.

Next, a supplement that controls your internal organs so your bodily functions don't smell bad.

Takanori: That's normal enough for pets.
TETSUYA: You use this, and then your shit doesn't stink?
Girl: Yes. Some people mix it with rosewater.

Sando reads out the label but it doesn't do much to clarify how it works ^^

TETSUYA: So, do you take this because you're stinky?
She sounds confused (possibly because he used an old slang term for stinky) and says it's just because she'd rather smell good.

Takanori: I think it's amazing that people would actually do this themselves.

Lastly, from Sapporo, we have a water-free Shampoo!

TETSUYA: Oh, we have a paper about it here.
She explains that it's shampoo for when you can't take a shower, and it smells good too.

Girl: I think it would be very useful for evacuees, much like the bottle Kimura-san brought.
Kimura: I'm so glad you understood me!!

Now they have to vote!
TETSUYA: Compared to last week, these are pretty low...
Takanori: You could eat most of last week's items.

They pick... the rosewater-supplement Thing! at 3 to 1.
The 1 was Banana, who picked the face massager.

So, the no-stink supplement wins!

Takanori: I think it's impressive to consider your own scent to such an extent, going so far as to change your body from the inside.

Song time!

Tweeting corner!

Today we have a blog post~
(Yes they call it a Tweeting corner even though it's blogs 90% of the time, and no I don't know why)

She posted about a "life pathfinder" thing she participated in, where she played the part of a little kid.
(Sounds like it was a play/performance of some kind?)
Her post is mostly thanks to everyone who came to see and all that, so it's hard to follow without knowing the show itself.

Miyano: Performing is fun! But you had to do it every day right?
Girl: Yeah, it was a bit tiring that way, but a good experience.

Sando asks about her role - since she was playing a young child, did she have to use baby talk?
They joke about a play entirely in baby talk and laugh 8D;;

Takanori: That would make no sense! There would be nothing to understand in the whole thing!!

We have another post!

This one is blog about an all-ramen diet 8o
The girl wrote about all the spicy ones she ate and how much she loves them :3

Takanori: You REALLY love spicy food, don't you? Wow!
Girl: Yes, I like the feeling of it!

He takes a survey of who likes spicy food, and from the reaction, ALL the girls do!
They all laugh.

Takanori: I wonder if women just react to spice differently. What about you guys?

Sando: I've been made to eat 200x spice curry and things like that on TV, so I can barely taste spice anymore.

Much laughing about Sando's dulled senses later, we get another song!

Ending time~

The one girl reminds us that Oku-sama wa 18-sai episode 3 airs this weekend~
Takanori: Yes everybody watch it it is very interesting (-- said kinda flatly and fast)

Miyano has another single coming next month!

Banana has XXX release, and of course the ongoing L'Arc tour!

Takanori thanks everyone for their support regarding IRF.

TETSUYA: I would have been there if it weren't for Fukuoka! I was going to come, you know I would have.
Miyano: You have such a deep bond~
Takanori: Yeah right, I know you were just chilling in Kyuushuu, relaxing and drinking.
TETSUYA: No way! I was working. If I weren't working, I would have dashed to Lake Biwa as soon as the lives were over.
Takanori: Really?
TETSUYA: Really. I wanted to be there.

Takanori then announces his other stuff - appearing in Kazoku Fes, ROCK OF AGES, UTAGE, the rest of CLOUD NINE tour.

That's it for this week!

Goodnight world, eat more fruity cake but save room for next week 8DDDDD!!!
Banana party hats will need to be prepared~
