1.) The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks--4
2.) Son of the Shadows by Juilet Marillier--4.5-this is the second book in an amazing series. I loved the first one also
3.) The Living Dead (short stories)--3 some stories are awesome others are meh
4.) The Host by Stephenie Meyer--5--I LOVED this book. I found myself rereading sections over and over again..I kept staying up late to read...just a wonderful read.
5.) Marked by PC Cast & Kristin Cast--3--though I'm still going to read the second one at some points I didn't really like the main character nor the way she talked. It just seemed like a teenager had written it as fan fiction.
6.) The Vampire Diaries- The Awakening and The Struggle by L.J Smith--3--though I LOVED her other series I thought I would love this one. But the main character is annoying and hard to sympathize with.
7.) Beauty by Robin McKinely--4--This is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Quite an enjoyable read
8.) Tithe by Holly Black--4--I read this in one day. Very enjoyable. Part of a trilogy and I picked up the third book the next day.
9.) Ironside by Holly Black--4--The third book in the trilogy (I missed the second one and it's about a different set of characters that also appears in this one). The books are fun and quick reads. Both are for young adults.
10. ) Club Dead by Charlaine Harris--4.5--ok so this was one of my favorites in the series so far..I read this one quicker then most...I love the whole series though
11.) Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris--4--another great read in the Southern Vampire series
12.) Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris--4--loved this one also...though I'm not a fan of Quinn
13.) Definitely Dead by Charlaine Harris--4--loved this one also...seeing a trend
13.) All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris--5--I don't know why but this one is my favorite in the series so far...I LOVED it and read it incredibly fast.
14.) Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris--4--Figured since I liked the Southern Vampire Series so much I would try one of her other series. She did not disappoint. Though I don't think I like Harper as much as I like Sookie...
15.)Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr-4.5 loved the story. The characters were very likable.
16.)Many Bloody Returns-3 loved some didn't care for others.
17.) From Dead to Worse by Charlaine Harris-5 I went through this so quickly and I was right perfect beach read!!
18.) Full Tilt by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes-3- I couldn't really get into this maybe I'm tired of reading??
19.) Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr- 3--I loved her first story in the series but had a really hard time getting into this one. It just seemed blah and full of angst. I didn't really like Leslie either.
20.) Glass Houses by Rachel Caine- 4--Quick read. Claire can be a bit grating at times, but it is still very likable. Claire is going to college in Morganville and is being bullied by the other children at the school. Therefore, she searches for a place to live off campus. She then meets the other characters of our book Michael, Eve and Shane, who help her to discover some of the secrets of the town and to survive.
21.) The Dead Girls' Dance by Rachel Caine- 3.5--Glass Houses leaves on a cliff hanger. I had to get the second one to see what happened. It is a quick read and enjoyable. Shane's father blows into town causing chaos in his wake and tons of trouble for our main characters.
22.) Child of the Prophecy by Juliet Marillier- 4.5--This one was just as good as the previous two. It was great to see how things played out with all the Sevenwaters heirs. All the lose ends were tied up wonderfully. Will have to read the next one soon though...
