Oh yes now we're talking ! AKIHIDE's personal site got updated today with details surrounding on his 2nd solo album which has such a cool unique if not very interesting title aka Lapis Lazuli !
全曲ボーカルを務めた1st Album「Amber」からわずか5ヶ月で2nd AlbumをリリースするAKIHIDE。「Lapis Lazuli」と名付けられた今作は、前作とは打って変わり、ギタリストとしての顔を全面に出した、インストゥルメンタルアルバム。
全曲アコースティックギターで、“切なく、優しく、強く”ロックで表現することをテーマに作り上げた作品になります。

Unlike AKIHIDE's debut album Amber , Lapis Lazuli is strictly a full instrumental album that will be mainly acoustic guitar . Which means to say that AKIHIDE will not be singing in Lapis Lazuli .
And this time round for Lapis Lazuli , it will be released in a CD Regular & a CD Limited edition/s .
CD Regular
- includes a bonus track 遠き山に日は落ちて ; Tōki Yama Ni Hi Haochite . This song is not included in the CD limited edition of Lapis Lazuli
CD Limited
- 3 surface digipak + special photo booklet
There're a total of 48 pages in the special photo booklet , that will include photos from on location shoot + behind the scenes photos album shooting of Lapis Lazuli .
Purchase of both editions will have a special online benefit . More details on this to be announced soon :
