I can't tell you how many service industry jobs I've worked that I've had to bite my tongue and not say something when someone was being a total fucking prick to me. That post is so true, and I swear to god if I don't say something next time. I'm so sick of it.
No more being nice to the fat gross fucks that hit on me at work when they're drunk and I can't get away cause I'm trying to do my job and ring up customers. I'm sick of it. I'm not gonna be nice to people that're abusive to me. What, because I have a retail job I'm less of a human than y ou? I don't give a shit anymore. I'm just as good a human being as they are, if not better. Have some respect for me.
I think that blog post flipped a switch. Ugh. I'm not being nice to dickheads at work anymore. I've got nothing but respect and courtesy for these people, but they treat me like crap cause I'm working retail and they've got some "important" office job. They can suck a cock.
