See the Sun - Aoi (The Gazette) Layout
So, it was my birthday yesterday and since I had to cancel my drinking expedition due to my best friend and I getting really sick, I distracted myself with photoshop. So, instead of you all giving me gifts, I present you with this.
It is a clean and simple layout without too many technical details so it is great for large sections of text. Even so, the image is intense, the dark purples and pinks offset by the hard blocks of white that frame it. The colours mixed with the text give it an ambivalent feel; it is happy, is it sad, or is it reflective?
The lyrics are from Pete Murray (See the Sun and So Beautiful) and Eskimo Joe (Setting Sun); two very good, very unique Australian bands.
