So (you notice how many entries I start with 'so'?) the birthday was pretty sweet. Lots of lazing and buggering about. Went out for dinner to the Bahn Thai which was pretty friggin excellent. I haven't been there for ages and it was hella nice.

Saturday and Sunday we had our first weekend at the Royal Abingdon Faire, (formerly the Ontario Renaissance Festival, but now we're all moved and new and stuff.) It was pretty sweet. Saturday was hot as Jason Hill's ass, but I was in the pub so it wasn't so bad. Then Sunday rained and I got sent home halfway through the day (but didn't actually go home, just dicked around the festival.) Today I went over there with Heather and Lexie to see if we could set anything up and we moved bails of hay all morning. That was an adventure in itself, being that we could NOT move this giant wall of straw. It took 40 minutes to find the guy who could, in fact, move it, and then we got rained on. A lot. Either way, fun morning.

Then tonight... Stacey and I decided to go rent Ice Princess (cheesy, but just excellent) and while we were at the plaza we checked Mac's to see if the new Penthouse was in (the one with the 6 page spread on Louis XIV.) It was certainly there, and I certainly jumped on it like a flying squirrel. The guys next to me thought it was pretty funny... Actually, so did the guys in Tim Hortons who pointed and laughed as Stacey and I sat there and flipped through the whole magazine. The article is beautiful and big. Just like the anatomy of certain band members.

I also found out tonight just how much ID you need to get a Roger's card. Christ tonight. I'm going to have to rent a ford pickup to haul all that ID over there. Then I can rent sweet movies such as ICE PRINCESS on my OWN card. Yeah.
