[Backdated to earlier Sunday afternoon.]

.......Um. Mr. Apollo?

[Good evening Johto, you get to see Edgeworth actually talking to his Pokégear! And he's looking rather awkward today as he does so.]

Uh...

[Ahem.]

I was going to go gather berries to feed my Pokémon when we start traveling, so I went to open my bag. I hadn't used it since earlier in our ( Read more... )

So that's where Sirius went. I guess we'll have to keep them until they hatch. After that, we could give them away, like you do with a litter of puppies.

[[Apollo won't object to anyone other than Kristoph, Dahlia, and Luffy (because he throws his Pokemon.)]]

...Actually, it may be best to give them away while they are still eggs... I just have this feeling. [Uuuuuh.]

[[Edgeworth would have some objections to Kristoph and Dahlia, too. And Luffy ffff wth]]

But they might have to stay with Pess until they hatch.

[...] Do you have a Breeders' manual?

Ah, yes, I do..!

[He disappears from the screen for a moment before returning with a.. rather dog-eared book. Apparently he's been studying hard.]

Eggs don't necessarily have to stay with their mothers until they hatch.. trainers can receive eggs and nurture it themselves.

Okay. Then it'd be better to give them away, since we can't possibly take care of all of them. Assuming Pess will let us, that is.

A few people have offered to take care of the eggs..

The Professor, Miss Iris, Larry.. [He lists them off on his fingers.]

...and Mr. Gavin, but I told him no.

[[ooc; So, the people who've offered to take an egg are Professor Layton, Iris, Merlin, Ciel Phantomhive, and Larry. Is that all right? O: ]]

That leaves three more, right? It shouldn't be too hard to find them homes.

[He is so relieved that Miles said no to Kristoph. Apollo sincerely thinks that Kristoph could never take proper care of a Pokemon-- he's too self-centered, too...heartless.]

I'll be keeping one with me, since I don't want Pess to be all alone.

There are a couple others. Merlin and Ciel Phantomhive -- do you know them, Mr. Apollo?

[Edgeworth had declined Kistoph's offer because of Apollo's warnings, back when Kristoph first appeared in Johto... although that action did make Kristoph slightly suspicious.]

I'm sure she'll appreciate it.

I've spoken to Merlin before, but I don't think I know anyone named Ciel.

He said he was a sort of detective, from London, 1889... although he can't have been much older than I am.
