[ The video is shaky, as whichever Pokémon recording trudges through the sand of the beach. The weather in Cianwood is beautiful today--blue sky, blue ocean, white sand and a slight breeze! You can see an orange pool float bobbing up and down on the waves, with a family of electric mice soaking up the sun ( Read more... )

The beach's there is great!

The Safari Zone is a place where you can watch and capture Pokemon you don't normally find anywhere else.

I guess that makes sense.

Have you been there?

Yep. I caught Agena and Vidofnir there when I figured out how to work with the rules.

--! There are rules?

Um, if it isn't any trouble... could I ask what they are?

Looks like you're all having fun.

I think Ted mentioned a Safari Zone once. That was where he caught the Spearow - um, Fearow - he sent me.

The beach is fun.

[ Give him a few moments to realize that what he said isn't overly ~mature~ sounding and he'll sputter at you. ]

Well, it's good to see you acting like a real kid for a change. Close enough.

[And flop goes down Ken. Who has salt water all in his hair and a Minun clinging to his head like she was going to get swept into the waves. Ken knows how to beach. He has the swim trunks and the flippy floppies.

And he is now covered in sand.]

You're supposed to go in the water when you come to the beach.

[STRANGE ISN'T IT the last time Miles saw Ken dripping wet with salt water he was sobbing 8( But now he is grinning quite happily.]

I don't really know how to swim.

[ HE HAS SWIM TRUNKS but he's got the shirt, and the book still, and they're making an awesome sand castle. Pip for once is being good, waiting to destroy it until Miles makes on with a less wibbly Pokémon.

Miles is happy to see Ken smiling, though. 8D ]

You have to come in the water at least. You don't have to swim. [Ken has been bowled over by at least like six waves.]

O.. okay. [ He makes sure Jason is contently making his own castle before getting to his feet.

Safari Zone...? I've never heard anything...

I was told there are Pokémon there that can't be found elsewhere.

Then you're looking for... something new?

... No. If I find one I've never seen before, then that's a discovery I'll enjoy, but I'm not in any particular search for anything new.
