I am in love with this little program Energy XT.
Nice little modular VST plugins host (?), which is incredibly flexible and unlike Cubase or else I got the hang of it in five minutes.
I love the random function on the arpeggiator and the fact that you can easily use any CC change from any VST because they are clearly labelled out.
