Quick lil update....
So, school has started again!! I love being in school even though I always think "what the hell am I doing?"
This semester I am all by my lonesome and will be the real test. All my difficult classes up to nowI had Charlie with me helping me to study. Now I have no one but lil ol' me. Two of my teachers I have already had (with Charlie) so they now have high expectations of me and my learning and writing abilities. *eeeeek*
I am taking:
Historical Geology which I get to go on fieldtrips looking for fossils and learn about dinosaurs! Yes I am a geek because I don't even need this class!!! Just sounded fun.
P.E. to get unfat.
A combo class of Intro to Fiction/Intro to Film and we are going to explore through lit and film the evolution of the mad scientist!!! Yay!
Stats. Um...I already took this at Western, but because it was only a 3 credit hour class there and here it is a 4 credit hour class I am taking it again. And not only was my used math book $146 and some change (my school book total was $492!) but then I get to class and the teacher is like "you must have a graphing calculator for this class like a TI-83 which I have found at best buy for about $80" WHAT THE FUCK LADY!!!! So I am currently try to get one from ebay and I keep getting outbid at the last second cause I am not able to sit and watch the action 24/7. *sigh*
This past weekend Helena and I went with my parents to Pittsburg to visit my aunt who is battling cancer. She has battled it 3 times before and has won, but she has never been so low on weight. She has gain about 10 pounds and is up to 109. Anyways, we left around noon central time on friday and got in at 4am eastern time. Did running around visiting and whatnot and left around 8am estern on Monday and got back around 9pm central. We did get to stop at our friends farm in Ohio that houses the baby daddys of our 2 alpaca girls. That was nice to see them.
I am dog tired.
That's it I guess.
Helena is doing fabulously at school! Charlie and I are planning on redoing her room tomorrow as a surprise birthday present. Yeah, I know it isn't til next week, but I am so excited!
