Dad,

When did you want to stop by?  If you'd like, I could make dinner for you, or pick up some take-out.  Of course you're also welcome to simply drop by if you rather not stay for a meal.

Hullo, Perc! I'd really enjoy dinner, if you don't mind cooking in your new place. I'm over at the Tonks' for supper tomorrow, but aside from that, I'm free. I suppose tonight is too soon for you, though.

Tonight is fine, if you don't mind eating just a bit late. Nothing fancy, I'm afraid, but I can throw something together. Broil steaks, maybe. What do you think?

Steaks sound just fine. What time shall I pop over, then?

Eight, I think. Ron has the Apparition coordinates to get you right inside. Stupid prat Tell him I said he can tell you. He's not speaking to me at the moment.

Would you rather potatoes or salad? Or both?

Potatoes, I think. Unless you'd prefer salad. Oh, I don't know. A salad would be nice, as well. No, potatoes. No, salad. Potatoes. Let's have potatoes, shall we?

Potatoes are fine. I'll put some in to bake now.

I look forward to it.

Now, what is it that you and Ron are bickering about? I've asked him, but he gave me some confusing nonsense about trust and I have no idea what he was on about, to tell the truth.

Fuck

I hurt him made him angry because I said he can't keep secrets and that I don't trust him. So he went off on me and said fine, he wouldn't talk to me if I found him so untrustworthy.

And what is it that made you say that? You realize, don't you, that a large part of the argument that he and I had was due to the fact that he was keeping secrets?

Because I don't trust him. He tends to run off at the mouth and then think it through after, and he now knows something I really do NOT want commonly known.

I think he's much more careful with his own secrets. He has nothing to lose by exposing mine.

Yes, well, but do you really have to-

Oh, nevermind.

I just wish you boys wouldn't fight.

I wish a lot of things, Dad. I really don't enjoy fighting.
