Experimentation? I suppose even a place such as this has its flaws. I admit, it certainly seems like it has the potential of being a relaxing vacation spot. (Not to mention, a good excuse to stop doing paperwork...not that there's any here to begin with.
...Perhaps it would be a good time to figure a few things out.)
That being said, it does seem to be quite dangerous as well. After all, even with such little time here, I managed to pick up some local gossip. It certainly was interesting and seems to be quite problematic. I heard that a new couple, Miranda and Adam, is having some trouble. Apparently, they're trying to play matchmaker to their mutual friends, Lizzie and Nick. However, it seems that the latter is in love with a woman named Olivia who, unfortunately, is already engaged to someone by the name of Sam. From the sounds of it, Sam and Olivia seem perfectly happy, so the situation seems to be taking a turn for the worse. What a shame. I'm sure they had good intentions, but manipulating someone against their own will has a tendency to backfire. If anyone has heard anything else, I'd certainly be interested to hear. After all, they seem to be the talk amongst the locals here.
Which reminds me, exactly how often do these experiments occur?
