optimism
I decided while reading Madame Bovary that pessimism is just as romantic idealistic and stupid as the cliche version of optimism. Its over dramatic to sit around and tell youself that nothing can get better, because if all you are doing is sitting around and telling yourself that nothing can get better OF COURSE it won't get better. Gah. ? Just figured I'd mention that.
