It's been awhile...
Bullet points as paragraphs require thought and effort
*I went shopping and remembered wine and cheesy puffs but forgot the washing up liquid. I'm not sure if that sums up my day or my priorities.
*I traveled almost 3 hours on saturday to reach the restaurant we were having lunch at. The crab risotto was worth it. That does sum up my priorities.
*Today a client told me that she had made up her foreign fiance and her imminent move out of the country. My poker face cracked but I didn't shout, even though I have had to discuss this 'guy' during a hearing.
*The internet keeps flaunting it's shinies at me and as a result I am now watching 'Leverage'. It's mindless fluff but has entertaining criminals. I can't decide if I prefer the thief who loves sci fi and blowing stuff up or the thief who likes money (not possessions or shopping, money) and blowing stuff up.
*On Thursday I went to see 'Emmy the Great' on the basis of a short but positive review. The support bands were awful but her lyrics made up for the 90 minutes of earlier torture. I can still recall several snippets clearly. I'll probably give in a purchase the CD and I rarely buy folk music.
*I watched Twilight and sniggered all the way through, but I still bought (and enjoy in all it's cheesy glory) the soundtrack. I have no shame.
*At work someone referred to me as 'low maintenance'. I am deeply insulted and have realised no one has bought me curly wurlys to appease my rage since I started there. This must change.
