Weekend Update
Okay I'm not as cool as Tina and Jimmy, but it'll have to do =)
Thank you to everyone for your kind words... Rikku's ultrasound went very well. They said the heart murmur looks innocent. On a scale of 1 - 6 they said it was a 1, maybe a 2. She doesn't have any restrictions, so Jello and Rikku and I will be flying to Chicago for Christmas... but I probably won't get to do a lot of visiting. We're only gonna be there from Saturday the 23rd to Tuesday the 26th. So it's gonna be a lot of quality family time, probably gonna go out with the girls (Lynz, Elen, and Tin) on Saturday night if possible, and I'll try to see Alex (yes, you) if I can. But family is the most important thing right now. Because holy crap do I miss them.
But it looks like she's gonna be fine, they are just gonna keep an eye on the murmur for the next year or so and see if anything changes with it. So thanks everyone =)
In other news, Jello and I FINALLY got off our asses and joined a gym! So yay! We joined Bally's (and I'll be able to switch whenever I move back home since there are Ballys' all over the place lol) and we went yesterday... it's a great gym. I can't wait... with our membership we each get 4 free sessions with a personal trainer so I can't wait for that! Right now I'm just using the treadmills and stuff to ease myself back into the whole working out thing... since I haven't done it in a long time. But yay!
And yesterday evening I went with Jello and his family to visit his father's grave... it was very sad, and we all know I don't do well with things like funerals and stuff (as seen by my awkwardness at Carl's grandfather's funeral last week) but I was sad nonetheless. We visited the cemetary and then went to dinner at his dad's favorite place. I adore his family so much... the kids are just so sweet.
And yes, Jon, before I get an angry comment lol... it was great to see you. I'll see you on Thanksgiving.
Last night we went out with Keirin, Dennis, Lucia, and the gang... it was lots of fun. Jello got really drunk... so funny. I had four drinks and four shots... and didn't feel a damn thing. That makes me a little nervous lol... but oh well. I was driving anyway... so I wasn't even gonna drink that much, but when I wasn't feeling it... lol... but Jello was just so funny. At one point we were outside and he started singing to me... "I can't liiiiive!!! If living with is-out yooouuu!!!" Oh hunnie. I love you. LoL.
That's about it. Life is pretty good. Keeping my fingers crossed about the job with Kim. But if I don't get it I'll get one like it somewhere... so that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
