Here are some logs kept from the drive to CT in the Budget truck with K-Dwag, the drive to CT in my car with Keith and Rikku (with my mom and gramma in mom's car too), and an adventure to Providence with Jello. And now, as far as life goes... why am I so stupid? Well... I have been doing nothing since I've been here... so today I thought, no, this has to stop. I have to stop being so homesick and sad and get over it... so I thought I'd start doing the shit that needs to get done. I went to the DMV so I could switch over my license and registration. Well... I need my birth certificate or passport to do that, which I don't have... which is fine, mom can send my cert. to me. But... then I looked in my car... and I seriously haven't had an updated registration in my car since July of 2004. I GET them, I put the stickers on my car.. but for some reason I just... never put the registrations in my car.
There was an incident in 2003... when I needed my registration down in Carbondale so I could get a parking sticker... and we went through this whole thing about having the registration in the car and whatnot. And I remember my mom giving me the most recent one. But the thing is... it just didn't click in my head that the paper she handed me when she said "I put the sticker on your car" was the registration.
And then..... I couldn't find it. So insanity followed while I tore my room apart looking for it because if I don't have it, I have to go back to Chicago and get a new one before I can register it here. But when I called Lynz to cry about how stupid I am, her tattoo helped me find it. So I have it. She saved my life.
But seriously... how was I so stupid? And not just the last registration.... but the registration for last like 2 or 3 years... WHO IS THAT STUPID????
