Major crisis averted for now
I went to talk to Sylvia (my major adviser) just now and we came up with this solution: Spanish as a minor. For now I am going to drop 210 and audit (attend the classes, but not for credit) 110 and retry 210 next semester. I probably won't change anything to do with my majors until next semester at the earliest. That I'll know if I'm making a mistake with religious studies because I'm going to try to take a class that focuses on something other than Islam (and is taught by someone other than Debra.)
Eh? eh? Complicated, but doable, and probably helpful in the long run. Hopefully I will not have to buy ANOTHER $200 Spanish book.
Unfortunately this solution leaves me with only 3 credits this semester (still full time), so next semester I have to do lots!
