This and that.

Sorry the entries have been thin.  Moved in new "office" furniture this week that fits better in my room (it's nice having coordinated furniture again).  Going to try to sell the old furniture in a yardsale this coming weekend...so you may not hear from me this Thursday/Saturday either, since we'll be prepping for that.

Got a few good deals this past week.  Scored Anna Nalick's "Wreck of the Day" CD at Deals for $1.  Walmart's marked down their winter clothing, so I picked up a purple zip up sweater hoodie for $1.

I didn't get any particular deals on my new furniture, but I did wait until I had the money before buying and got simple, not super expensive pieces.  $152.93 for both the desk and the matching book shelf.  It might have been thriftier to wait for another 15% sale on furniture (Office Max runs those a few times a year), but I wanted to put the old stuff in the yardsale...so overall, glad I went ahead and got it.  I did at least use my Max perks card, so I'll get a little kick back from the big purchase to put toward smaller purchases.

Doing my best to pry unneeded items out of my room to put into the sale, including my old iMac.  Will probably put any furniture that doesn't sell up on freecycle, which I joined week before last...haven't posted on it yet though.

Here's a few articles I spotted this morning that I thought were worth sharing:
