Exactly! [Huffs.] It's such a pain. They don't even have dance clubs or something fun like that. Or waterslides. And no one wants to make them because apparently that's too frivolous or something. [You can just HEAR the pout in her voice.]

I don't know about the waterslide, but you could probably set up a dance club if you wanted to. Though the people here don't seem like the types to party.

There's truth in your analogy, though. The people kept here would be much more restless if they weren't allowed to live in relative comfort. At the same time, I wonder if it would be playing into the Malnosso's hands to enjoy life here and not spend more time rebelling.
