I thought only boys played with bugs
The Houston Musuem of Natural Science celebrated 100 years of service and threw a birthday party. So as good supports of the museum we went, with crowd. By the way there is nothing more embarrassing than unloading a mini van full of adults when all other vehicles have strollers (AJ was home with my mom). There was animal petting (alligator baby, walking sticks, tarantulas, millipedes) and bug eating. The girls were all up for that, the guys not so much-they actually walked away while we dined on cheese flavored worms and fryed ants on a peanut better on celery.Take a look at the ants, hard to see but they were there!
We were told roaches have more protein than chicken and that they are only as dirty as their environment. We thought about waiting to try them but the California pizza kitchen sounded better (especially to the boys). Yummy place :)
So, would you eat chocolate covered crickets and other bug appetizers?
