Possible spoilers. Why didn't you grace my ANIMU/MANGU life sooner? I binged on all 94 manga chapters and now I'm looking at the anime, where the art style is much better than the manga art style, imo. Can't say much for the battle animation, though making things bloody is always nice. <333 Voice acting is okay. I might switch to subs just to see what I like better.
As for characters, everyone has the same face but it isn't as bad as Vampire Knight where I confused several characters. I still have to identify people by hair, but I'll deal with. As female main character, I'm glad you don't piss me off Claire, since I have to see your face almost all the time. In fact, I think you're awesome, battle practicality and all. And omg, I totally fell hard for Teresa. (Not to mention that hair is amazing.)even though she's only there for like... three chapteeeers. SAME TO YOU OPHELIA, I LOVE VIOLENT BITCHES. God'damn why do the awesome people have to kick buckets? YOU TOO ISLEY AND ILENA. alrj;afjlasfj I'm totally digging Miria, and Galatea (I totally digged the nun outfit) and, and... fuck to simplify I just like the WHOLE FUCKING CAST, k? K. Some people thought Raki was annoying or some of the battles had no point. But I guess my tastes are different or I just have high tolerance for that kind of thing. idk
Its a really refreshing shounen series and it hasn't gotten into a slump yet, like the big three (Naruto, One Piece, or Bleach). The only problem is that it updates once every month. (I'll prolly wait a year or two before I read up on it again.) And while the cast is pretty much the estrogen brigade, it isn't as fan servicy as it sounds. Not that I mind, though some ANIMU take it beyond my tolerance point. I'M LOOKING AT YOU NEEDLESS AND AIR GEAR. There's a plot reason why, which is cool. The gals do have some humane qualities (Heh) and their attitudes are realistic to their world. There's also a problem with everyone having the same weapon (ten guesses what it is) which somewhat detracts from the action but there is somewhat (?) a plot reason why. None of this stereotypical UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE TOWARDS FIGHTING OR KILLING EVEN THOUGH IT IS IN THE JOB DESCRIPTION shit. I won't mention who or what series, but there has been times where I've wanted to smack a few characters around. (I'm more forgiving if the career choice is involuntary.)
