Happy Birthday, Chibi-san

Day He Came To Be
Another year, another birthday, another disappointment. You'd think that after 15 years of going through the same pattern, the disappointment would fade away. But no. It only hurt more.
He had so many friends now… but they still never remembered his birthday. It was like he didn't have one. And no one bothered to ask when it was.
He sighed again before placing his normal smiling face on as he stepped out of his apartment.
So what if no one was going to wish him a "Happy Birthday" or give him any gifts or make him feel special for the day? He'd just go find Ero Sennin and get some good training out of him. Naruto had a hunch that the old frog hermit was still hiding some great techniques from him.
"Alright." He told himself as he stretched a bit before rushing down the stairs and onto the street.
He placed his arms behind his head as he strolled down the busy Konoha streets, seeing the decorations for Yondaime's 'defeat' of the demon fox, Kyuubi. He heard a few people whisper about him as he passed. He was used to it by now so he just continued on his way towards the bathhouses. That damn hermit was so predictable sometimes.
However he never really made it to the bathhouses.
"Na-Naruto-kun?" he heard a soft voice call to him. The only reason he heard it was because of his heighten sense of hearing (due to being a shinobi… and Kyuubi).
"Hinata!" He smiled at her as she caught up to him. "What's up?"
As soon as the words came out of his mouth, the girl began to play with her fingers. He smiled softly. He found her meekness to be annoying and yet semi-cute. After a few more seconds, she stopped and took off the backpack she was carrying to look for something. Her small hands found what she was looking for. "Umm…Happy birthday!" she said quickly, hastily shoving an envelope into the surprised blonde's hands before gathering her stuff at light speed and then scurrying off.
He continued to stare at the spot where the dark haired heiress once stood before fully comprehending what just happened. He stared down at the envelope and then opened it. His eyes lit up with complete ecstasy.
"30 free bowls of ramen at Ichiraku…" he said as a large grin spread on his face, "Thanks Hinata!"
His idea of training with Ero Sennin had left his mind as he strolled merrily down the busy streets of Konoha towards his favorite ramen place to claim his present.
So this year his birthday didn't turn out to be too bad. A strong and pretty cute kunoichi wished him "Happy Birthday" and gave him a present he would really enjoy. He felt pretty damn special today too.
Now all he has to do was find out when Hinata's birthday is and what to get her.
