It's hard to believe it's been 8 years.
I remember when I first heard about the accident. I was baffled by the fact that a car that was going only 5 m.p.h. could have caused something so tragic.
And then a week later, she was gone. I was only a sophomore in high school and had known her since 4th grade. She was the first younger person i knew to die. I remember having a hard time dealing with it. I remembered the last time I saw her on the bus the day before the accident. I remember telling her to have a good weekend and I would see her later. Who knew?
As I have watched her older sister get married and her younger siblings graduate from High School, I can't help but think of how she should have been there and ask why did this happen?
But now all I have is memories, especially us of making up a dance routine to Rhythm, is a Dancer, by Snap in the 7th grade gym class. As well as her beautiful voice and incredible talent for the violin. Her love for the Beatles, the list goes on and on.
You know Heaven has a wonderful angel.
