Was that really what I think it was?

Well i had a pretty good Halloween weekend. All my praying that some punk kids wouldn't mess things up Saturday night came true and i was outta there by 10:30.yay!

My sis decided to come into town a day early, so i was super excited. double yay!

I had plans to go to a Halloween party being put on by people from the local tv station. i had not planned on dressing up, since i didn't know how long i would be at work, so i went home picked Kim up and was off to Sommer's place to meet her and her hubby and Chad.
When I got there Sommer answered the door in her outfit that she bought at Ren Fest, complete with a redhead wig. She looked pretty cool. Her hubby, John, was dressed as the Jolly Green Giant. It was a pretty sweet get-up. He had the tights and even painted his face green. BUT the coolest was Chad. He drove in from Corpus Christi Saturday and didn't have a costume planned. John and Sommer took him to the costume store and they bought this kickass afro. I mean this baby had to be 2 feet tall---it kicked sooo much ass. Plus he looked so aweosme!

So then it was off to Jennifer's place for the party. We got there and realized that it was a kinda lame party. We really didn't know many people there, except a handful of tv peeps and of course, The Eagle gang. We didn't stay too long and then it was off to Northgate. It was such a crazy scene, people dressed up everywhere. We saw some creative and interesting costumes, including a penis, which sprayed water and a vagina, and adam and eve. We ended up chilling on the promenade most of the night, taking advantage of the fact that we can bring drinks out there because we won't be able to much longer. It was fun watching all the people go by wearing costumes.
Chad was so the talk of NG. Everyone wanted to touch his hair and take pictures with him, it was like he was a celebrity--it was sooo awesome. He was given so many compliments the whole night i was like Awwwww :-)
He said he couldn't go to the bathroom without someone wanting a picture or to touch his hair haha.
it was even better that we had an extra hour to drink, when it hit 2--it was really 1 oh yeah!!
But all good things must come to an end...
As we were leaving NG and walking to the car, this guy, who was pretty cute i was told,( i didn't get a good look) was like " Hey where is your costume?" and i was like "I'm a reporter haha" and he replied, "No you went as a hot girl, your definitely a hot girl"
it was flattering, and Kim and Sommer confirmed for me that he was indeed cute haha. but prolly drunk as well, but still all is good. i have heard the same thing from sober people as well;) haha.

After NG we headed back to Sommer and John'd for a bit, and i got to try on Chad's wig. it was pretty hilarious. i have to get the pictures from Craig so you guys can see this thing. It was so heavy it weighed down my head! I tried on Sommer's too, but it was not as fun.

I had a lot of fun, too bad it was too much fun. I was so sick all day Sunday. And i don't know why. I only had 2 beers, well a chugger and a beer, so maybe 3. I have had more before and felt fine, so who knows. But it was not fun let me tell ya.

but all-in-all it was a fun weekend indeed, well except for the loss to Baylor. Can some one explain this to me? I am still trying to figure that out...
