man i am sooooooooooooooooooo upset right now :-(
i really, really wanted them to win. I mean don't get me wrong i am so happy for Boston, but it would have been much cooler to see the Astros right there too...
so it has been brought to my attention i take baseball too seriously. so? I love it and when my team gets sooooooo close then, yeah i have a right to be upset. so what if i cried on the way home from work? half the newsroom was almost in tears tonight. I am not the only one. yes journalists have feelings to! i'll be fine by the time i go back to work so don't be looking up numbers for your favorite therapist just yet. just ask a cubs or red sox fan--they know the feeling.
but yes i know--we kicked ass this season, no one would have ever thought we would have made it as far as we did, but we didn't need to go down like that.
ok i think i need sleep or something..maybe then i'll stop crying. and i know it's not just the game that is making me upset..i just don't know what it is...
