Ch-ching!
So a few weeks ago, while at the MLB Fanfest, I signed up for a credit card just to get the cool free duffle bag that had the All-Star Game logo on it and I thought was cool.
Well today in the mail I actually got my credit card!!
Now honestly, I didn't want a credit card, I just wanted the free gift. But to my surprise they gave a credit card to someone who has a job, but doesn't make that much money, AND who has never had a credit card. Wait--I had one when I first went to college, but they screwed me over. See I bought one thing with it (bedding for my dorm) and paid it off and never used it again. Well a few months later I get a letter saying that I owe money. Well they screwed up my credit and until we got it straightened out, I couldn't get another one (not that I wanted one).
So now I have a pretty nifty credit card that is burning a hole in my wallet. Since I have never had one before, I think that it will okay. I will only use it in emergencies. But now I feel like it is one more step to growing up haha.
I just hope I really can not use it. I may use it once just to make sure it works, but I am afraid that it will be a chain reaction...
In the meantime, it won't hurt to browse a few sites ,you know just to check it out ;)
In other news: The Astros had JUST tied the game up when the rain just HAD to come down (again). well now I guess I will have to get up at 11:30 and hope that they can add to the Reds losing streak! (go boys go!)
