Unintentional rudeness.

I've had an ear infection since Tuesday, I've been on antibiotics for it since Friday.
While the stabbing crippling pain is lessening the total deafness is worsening.
I keep forgetting that I'm deaf in the left side and upon answering the phone conclude nobody is there and hang up on them.
