shall now talk about SSM..
lets skip directly to start of operations! 17may.
so apparently im the bartender for the first week of operations in Top Table.
nice experience i would say.
starting like so blur..
duno where everything's kept..
it's like they just throw the entire fine dining restaurant to you and you manage everything yourself.
so tough..
so i was constantly scolded pre-operations..
bartending's actually nothing much..
teas are really easy to make.
the only hard thing is mocktails..
using the 2 piece shaker is tough..
my hands were freezing..
and my palms were so painful and red.
post-operations was tough too..
wiping and cleaning the equipments..
putting everything back to place..
washing and wiping the cups and utensils..
and ms mark told me to clean the coffee machine.. -.-
it took me half an hour.
so many steps can!!! haha.
at the end of the day i felt this sense of accomplishment even though the trainers told us we did badly as a team.
second week of operations! 24may.
i ended up being a waitress when i requested to be a stewardess or host.
there were many in-satisfactions from our team regarding the posts we were allocated.
on that day itself.. 4 didnt turn up.
so our team got affected.
1 less stewardess 1 less host 2 less waiters..
quite cham now i think of it.. 13 people managing the whole fine dining restaurant.
so apparently my station had 1 less waiter..
sipei and i were like 'GG le lor'.
but ok la.. things went on quite smoothly in the end.
guess it was easier to communicate among smaller groups of people..
our team was complimented today. :)
come to think of it.. im actually missing Top Table.. *gets bashed*
more awaits me! TCA and SUGARLOAF!
proficiency test 2 is coming!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! hahaha.
