[Yuletide] I don't know what I did to deserve this, but wow!
I wound up with a lot of gifts in my inbox.
So far, they've all been delightful. Adorkable AvAc femslash which manages to be both cute and hot!!!!!!!!!!!! Black Books... I'm not even sure how to describe it, but it's very much a thing I could see as an episode, though I don't want to call it case fic, but what the hell, let's call it case fic! FOURTEEN THOUSAND WORDS OF MOTHERTRUCKING LOSERS TELEPATHY FIC. FOURTEEN. THOUSAND. WORDS. THERE'S, LIKE, PLOT AND STUFF.
Also, Canada. Though the Canada's not explicit. It's like fade to maple or something. But, unless this was written by someone who knows me, which is totally possible, the fond nostalgia for Gram and Malcolm's place in Half Moon Bay this triggered was a happy accident. (The summer I spent there started with dropping my brother off in Port Hardy before going to their place, so there was a lot of meandering and many ferries involved.)
Okay. Gonna dive back in.
And I'll give more thorough reports on both the AvAc and Black Books (DELIGHTFUL!), but I just finished reading the Cougar/Jensen with its implied/referenced Canada, so that's the one that gets the initial info dump.
