I can't wait to be done with college. I never understand any of my friends who desperately want to stay in university for years and years. They dislike the working world so much. But... I dislike college and all it includes so much. Maybe because I have a rather different direction then most of my friends, as well as a rather different college experience - one that doesn't include staying on campus, or staying in dorms, or making many new friends. The thing i dislike most about school is the homework. Classes are fine. But having to do extensive projects and torturing myself at home is still unbearable after all these years. Over the past 15 years it's only gotten more difficult. Though I must say college schedules definitely allow for more sleep, in comparison to high school, good lord. Also, I've had fairly decent forays into the working world. Even a "boring" regular job, like working behind the desk of a hotel, yeah of course there were many times where I was like "baahhh this is lame, and such a waste of my time" but a lot of the time I felt kinda productive. It felt good to be in the working world, wearing dress pants and looking decent. I dunno. I can't wait to be done with my ridiculous projects.
I like Sesame. I wish I could land something there after my internship ends in November. I'm also considering trying to get some work at Tribeca, but thats a different track.
How do I get a job in France? How do I find an American company with a French division? Sesame has 5, Rue Sesame, but I have no idea how to even approach them.
How do I get back there?
college,
internship,
