I find the new app to be oversimplified and mystifying. I've edited my post using the old editor and my laptop browser. How do I insert simple html commands in my text using the app?

Can you just type the html out or does that not work?

The main problem was getting the url of my post so I could put it in the LJ idol signup comment. I had to resort to the browser for that. this is what happens when I try to put a link in a comment using the app

It’s got a clean look. I’m getting used to it.
