Nightmares

So, I've been dreaming pretty consistantly for the past week now. I can't remember a lot of those dreams, all I know is that the insertion of people I know into them is done very strangely. Apart from those regular dreams, I've been having the same nightmare, maybe once every two nights, for this stretch. It's a very short one, in which I'm lying in bed across from my doorway (not the real setup of my room) and it's pitch black in my room. Out in the hall though, there's sort of a reddish glow. Then I hear something, or have a sort of feeling, and I "wake up" and look out into the hallway, and there's an enormous, headless sillouette peeking into my room, which then slowly draws back. At this point, one of two things happens. I either "wake up" into another dream, or I moan or something in real life and wake myself up. In the latter, it's really frightening, as you know when you've just woken up abruptly from a dream and it still seems like reality? That's how it is with me in any case, so my first thought on waking is "Shit, did it hear me?" The funny thing is, I hadn't even remembered having this nightmare before until I woke up today after having it.

Speaking of fright though, on Friday I went to this random haunted house in that plaza where Media Play used to be with Strowe's group. It was really awesome, very dark, and a lot of things jumped out and went "boo" or screamed at me. It was rather hilarious though, as my general reaction was just "Oh, hello. How are you?" Good times though. To any guys reading this, it would make a great date.
