[after seeing Uncle Kai's post, those images of a bloody and hurt uncle won't leave her. :< so she's curled up on the couch, her breathing shaky, obviously crying, and not quite realizing that the communicator's on.

[He is a little caught by surprised by being called dad.... but she's 6-years-old, and he attributes it to that. She's afraid, he can tell that for sure.

So he pats her head in comfort, leaning in close.]
