I'm so glad you care about me T_T It's a major relief from classmates who are generally more interested in prying than caring. And they don't even pretend to care. I suspect this is the accepted HK behaviour.
I think the more appropriate term is "八卦"(spell?). I'm not saying that Singaporeans or other people are not busybodies. Just that HKers appear more so. Exasperatingly so.
