Heading out the door of Milliways with Tim in tow, Kon almost expects this not to work. Simply because? Because he really wants it to. And it seems that with way his life is going lately, if he wants something, it'll probably get messed up.

But surprisingly, it does work, as they find themselves standing....

...in the Kent barn.

Uh.

Well, here they were in Smallville. Or at least that's what Robin thought they were at. It looked like they had ended up in a barn, and from the looks of it, Kon recognized it. But he was also acting a bit...oddly.

"Kon? Is something wrong?"

Kon doesn't know whether to laugh or cry at the situation. All he knows is that the Millidoor apparently has a real bad sense of humour. "No, nothing wrong at all..."

Robin had his doubts, but he decided not to mention them right now. Instead, he moved onto another topic.

"I should probably change, shouldn't I?" Considering the fact that wandering around in Smallville in his costume probably wasn't the brightest idea.

"...probably." Kon's fine, he's still in his civvies. Sans glasses, but he really doesn't feel like wearing those when he's not at school. "There's, uh... yeah. You could stash it up on the loft. Nobody really goes there."

"All right." With that, Robin headed up to the loft to change.

It didn't take him long. It was a mystery where he kept his civvies on his person, but he somehow managed it. When he came down from the loft, he was dressed in jeans, a loose T-shirt, and sneakers. His mask was gone, and he looked like any average teenage boy.

And that's... the combination of that, plus the location, is kind of getting to Kon, and not in a way he likes. He's supposed to have deal with everything, right? Repressed it or figured it out or whatever. And yet...

...yet he could do really well with making a crack to distract himself. "Amazing how easily you pass for normal."

"It's not that hard, you know," Tim said dryly. "It's called being subtle and not attracting attention to one self." Kon seemed to love the attention he got from people, though, whether they were on the job or not.

"Hey!" Kon looks a bit insulted. "I've been doing good on that lately. You haven't seen me at school. Real subtle."

Yeah, you know, if getting detention all the time was subtle.

"Landing in detention so often is subtle?"

It was hard to tell whether Tim actually knew or was bluffing. It wouldn't be surprising if he actually did know, considering the fact that Batman seemed to have tabs on everything.

Kon blinks. "How do you know about -that-?!" That was... kind of creepy, actually.

"That's for me to know and you to wonder about," Tim replied with a smug little grin. "Anyway, aren't you supposed to be showing me around?"

Kon stares at Tim for a long moment before shaking his head. "Yeah, I really don't want to know." He walks towards the barn door, and pauses. "Just to warn you... Krypto's probably going to attack once we leave."

Attack being pounce on whoever's closest and treat them to a doggy greeting.

"Krypto?" Tim vaguely recalled that the name belonged to a dog that Superman had owned who was apparently like the canine version of Superman, or something of that kind. He had never seen the dog before, though.

He wasn't afraid of what would happen, though. He merely shrugged and stepped outside the barn to breath the fresh Kansas air.

Kon shakes his head, smirking a little. "Don't say I didn't warn you..." he calls from behind.

And soon after Tim steps outside, a giant mass of fur flies at him in a doggy tackle, trying to knock him over so he can greet, greet, GREET!

Caught off guard, Krypto actually managed to knock Tim flat on his back. The only reason why Tim didn't throw the dog off was because he knew that it meant no ill-intent. Still, he squirmed as Krypto proceeded to thoroughly wash his face.

"Kon!"

Kon's too busy laughing to be any help at all. "The great Tim Drake... defeated by a dog..."

He's conveniently forgetting the fact that the dog tends to get the best of him, too.
