So yes, the power just went out for an hour. Now I feel the true horror of having no electricity at all. I depend way to much on it. I'm just glad I wasn't in the shower when the power was gone, or else I would have definitely freaked. Oh god, if both the electricity and water was out, I would have totally gone off the wall. I think the reason I ( Read more... )

Haha! Aww, poor Mia. One time, the water stopped when I was in the shower, and it was when I was shampooing my hair. God, that was a bitch.

Why aren't you on msn messenger!!!??? I want to talk to you about something!

Oh damn, that would have sucked! So did you stand in the shower till the water came back on, or did you have to towel everything off???

Sorry! I will probably be on this weekend, if you're still here! I haven't gone on in like a week (or more?).

yeah would have sucked to have the electricity go out when you're in the shower...in the winter LoL SUPER sucked. the snow glows?....suuuure. uh huh hon, don't you have a thing called a flashlight? ...yeaaah that works better. actual light. we always have at least three on hand. if an earthquake happens here we have no other "kit/prepareness stuff" but we have flashlights and enough bottled water to last a month LoL so yeah. but if you don't have any, invest in some flashlights SUPER great invention :)

Well, the snow doesn't glow, it just reflects and it seems like a glow-ish sort of light...

Well, if I KNEW where the flashlights WERE, it would have helped. My dad took them all for something, and I had no clue where they were! The phones were all weird, so I couldn't call. My cellphone battery was dead. I could have died! I looked in some drawers, but I couldn't see anything cause there were no windows nearby (without the snow glow!).

ooh okay...Ah, we always have our flashlights always in the same place, right above the phones. Uhm last time the power went out the cordless phones had issues, but the ones that weren't worked fine. It was kinda bizarre.

and about the cellphone, i'd invest in a car charger just incase...

Okay, you've never been to our house, therefore, it means you don't know the true meaning of a messy house. Our stuff is everywhere! Everytime we clean up, it just gets messy like a day again! I'm lucky I didn't kill myself walking around in the dark!
